I was chastised at 14 for questioning Bible:

rigid Catholic upbringing did not allow.

Locked in like narrow railroad track:

Pope represented Christ – all must bow.

In 20s, once again searched for meaning:

rules, divorce, gay, semantics were issues.

I was taught Pontiff infallible all teaching:

Christ, get behind me Satan, to Peter shews.

Also says, you are a stumbling block to me:

do not have in mind things of God, but of men.

Thus, Peter, foundation of church, was fallible:

immersed study, uncovered misperceptions again.

Word abomination was used to condemn others:

yet, it has multiple meanings to choose from.

Incest/Polygamy also contemporary condemned:

yet, used Garden of Eden – whence we did come.

It can refer to quantity or quality of choice:

In other words, first or second option.

Thus, man/woman cojoined can make three:

same sex focus stays at two unless adoption.

Divorce is another controversial issue:

…better not vow; what you bind may make free.

God told Abraham to sacrifice son, give back:

abortion may be returning soul to divine decree.

Conservative teachings are misanthropic, chauvinistic:

`we’ are headed towards a repeat history of Nazism.

Churchill-… fail to learn from history doomed to repeat it:

`separation of church and state’ subject to propagandism.

Contemporary Society needs biblical luminary*:

to explain misperceived issues affecting us today.

"Chenoboskion Manuscripts" discovered 1945 edify:

Gospel of Mary, Book of Thomas…need revealing, I pray.

then handed down in slanted or biased leaning.

definitions: cry, damage by ripping, hurrying.

Bible interpreted/translated by misogynists:

used word to condemn homosexuals/feminists.

Examine meaning/context from where it came:

it translates to `second choice’ - no blame.

Abominate also means deprecate - value is less:

does not mean that lesser is no and not a yes.

Webster’s 3rd New Int. Dictionary gives example:

wooden-replaced by metal = not hated or loathful.

If birth control is used, sex is an abomination:

for conception is deprecated - a depreciation.

For those who quote the Bible, note Leviticus:

Chapter 18, verses 6 thru 24 raises the fuss.

In same sentence: sex during menses equals same:

abomination has not achieved homosexual fame.

In the beginning according to Biblical source:

Incest/polygamy were guided for intercourse.

Both held in high value to perpetuate the race:

and they were not deprecated or held so base.

Bible held up as source of prejudice by leaders:

who claim they act as spiritual righteous seeders.

Failing to hear message of Jesus exclaiming:

love neighbor as self/each and all the same.

Beware of false prophets who dare to assume:

we can interpret God’s mind without room.

I pray we explore more the mystery of God’s ways:

inspiring us to love/respect ALL all of our days.
