Heart weeping with kith/kin as we mourn:

attack/war on all we cherish and hold dear;

reminiscent of Holocaust and 9/11 terror,

european operations vulnerable unlimited fear.

8-year daughter dead vs seized - father grateful:

horrifying atrocities entire families massacred;

grievances, historical rights, opinions obscured,

antiquity conflict ongoing - accord never secured.

Division between religions/cultures is constant:

every continent currently suffering in extremis;

how do we love other as self through injustice,

humanity’s Almighty Intelligence, please deliver us.
