ARC
Rehabilitation from murderous attack strong:
kith/kin/emotional support pets healing support.
By second year though loneliness prevailed:
revivification goals were being derailed.
Economics alas were below poverty:
finding communal low-cost challenge.
Divine guidance free Bridge instruction:
had no clue as to its power of seduction.
Learning started as dominant social need:
surprise epiphany for also mind exercise.
Touted by medical/influential luminaries:
resonated with my zodiac sign of Aries.
It was game that novitiate could play:
with someone who was expert yet win.
If novice got right cards, success deserved:
skilled opponents none the less reserved.
It became a quandary though for me:
social more important than competitive.
To most, winning was the ultimate goal:
losing analogous how the bell doth toll.
Game involved partnership interaction:
agreement crucial for enjoyment play.
Needed confrères spiritually concurring:
opponents were kith/kin soul stirring.
Example is Grace Christian school athlete:
retreated from finish line to help fallen mate.
Similar young girl came back for collapsed peer:
sportsmanship that resounds in hallelujah cheer.
History has stories of rival athletes:
pure sportsmanship role modeled.
Stirring precedent competitive nature:
`love other as self’ is nomenclature.
Fortunately, variety of allies are astute:
they too agreed `thouing’ precedence.
However, for me also is caveat:
disrespectful opponents take to mat.
Those times I want `A’ game on:
for I abhor poor sportsmanship.
I even pray for divine assistance:
superior play to winning distance.
Thus, I am polyphrenic in nature:
each game reveals unique persona.
Subconsciously tuned in higher design:
what is best for `then’ is what will shine.
Thus, opponent’s win means same to me:
their victory enriched and validated.
Communal Joy is sacred empathy/respect:
everyone wins is common denominator effect.
