Unconditional Love

UNCONDITIONAL LOVE

This terminology is so, so misunderstood:

many believe `no matter what’ acceptance.

Justification alludes Matthew 18-22 primarily:

avoid 12:31 except against Holy Spirit contrarily.

Jesus, sacred dying, for humanity to be forgiven sin:

yet, in Temple scourged with whips who trespassed.

Even if forgiven unconditionally, reprimand must occur:

I forgave man tried to kill me but wanted prison to deter.

Toxic behavior must have retribution consequence:

kin/kith/neighbor whomever perpetuity provenance.

If threatened physically or spiritually, must chastise:

or poisonous reaction could internalize and abscise.

`Righteous’ love humanity, dare to rise up:

challenge family/friends/kith/kin who court evil.

Unabomber’s brother justly turned sibling in:

blasphemy against humanity is unpardonable sin.

Even if it is spouse/parent/child/sibling, not condoned:

reckoning must be even by loved one for justice to prevail.

Unconditional does not supersede `offense’ no matter what:

in fact, pure agape love, hunts/locks away with door shut.

There is a difference between vengeance and divine wrath:

one pertains self-wrongdoing/the other sacred collective.

If trespass against hallowed, righteousness must prevail:

for the Holy Spirit is sacrosanct - blessed Holy Grail.

Godliness is when one or another is prejudiced against:

familiar pattern ANTI race/sex/religion/disabled/minority.

Includes familial kith or kin dishonor parent/child/mate:

requiring unconditional love of `separation’ with clean slate.

Isolate self from kith/kin violence threatening well-being:

forgive, but love unconditionally sacred spirit that inspires.

Forgiveness does not mean that you then have to rejoin:

loving afar ensures safety, other side of unconditional coin.

Jesus speaks of forgiveness beyond what anyone had ever considered before: seventy times seven! Many commentaries understand this to mean that Jesus was telling Peter that he should forgive his brother a limitless number of times.

What does God say about disowning family?

In fact, the Scriptures are full of teachings instructing us to leave relationships with wicked or evil people, to be separate from them, to shun, outcast, and purge them from our midst. (1 Corinthians 15:33, Proverbs 13:20, Psalm 1:1, Proverbs 6:27, 1 Corinthians 5:11, 1 Corinthians 10:13 – these are just a few).Mar 23, 2022

What does God say about violence in the Bible?

In the Bible, all violence is considered an offence against God and against humanity. Scripture is full of condemnations of violence – time and again violence is associated with wickedness and condemned as “detestable to the Lord” (Psalm 11, Proverbs 3 & 10). In particular, violence against women is condemned.
