This week, pastor arrested for watering lawn:

church member asked him to help while gone.

Glad to oblige for affiliate, also a neighbor:

it’s what it’s all about: love as self - labor.

But, once again, racial profiling sickens heart:

police called: arrested innocent because of color.

My veteran son’s PTSD went off chart – so irate:

he/peers suffered so keeping what makes us great.

Daughter too, when very young, cried over similar:

while watching show with discrimination on display.

My children have best traits a parent could hope for:

character, empathy, compassion, … at spiritual corps.

It isn’t just feeling that is reaction for more follows:

son bought card expressing sympathetic awareness.

Daughter work years knew of immigrant blight:

donated money to families in desperate plight.

They are both loving, giving, honest and wise:

charismatic too with passionate personalities.

Empathy towards minority I am most proud of:

treating neighbor with respect: highest in love.
