I have recurring fantasy that would change the world:
all minorities wake up white/all white wake up black.
Obviously, divine algorithms would be Raison d'être:
universe colossus model likened to European Detra.
I can hear the screams/see the leaps of joy:
disbelief, karma, awe, fear…would prevail.
Original whites shock would culminate in fear:
questioning `new’ treat them as they had is clear.
Maxim sustaining empathy is walk in another’s shoes:
six score plus years ago John Griffith changed skin.
His astonishing empathy rose up to illuminate life:
agony, prejudice, Jim Crow legacy and strife.
WWII `righteous’ adorned vet lived honor:
decorated for bravery/saved Austrian Jews.
Loving neighbor as self, bade peak endeavor:
neighbors were one/all/everyone – whomever.
Blessed… who hunger/thirst for righteousness:
beatitude affirms they will be satisfied.
Ethics of the Fathers magnifies homo sapiens why:
IF I AM FOR MYSELF ONLY…WHAT AM I?

The admonition to walk a mile in someone else's shoes means before judging someone, you must understand his experiences, challenges, thought processes, etc. The full idiom is: Before you judge a man, walk a mile in his shoes. In effect, it is a reminder to practice empathy.
