Dear Fellow Citizens voting Democratic:

 

thank you from the depth of my soul.

 

I am recipient of their liberal policies:

 

without which, the bells would toll.

 

 

I was born in era of evil personified:

 

Hitler, Mussolini, Stalin malevolent troika.   

 

Words/Symbols have passionate meaning:

 

one still contemporary is malignant swastika.

 

 

 

My grandparents fled impoverished Sicily:

 

hunger, pursuit of happiness endurance instinct.

 

Similar to Pilgrims/Puritans who fled intolerance:

 

evolution defines survival pursuits are interlinked.

 

 

 

They were severely prejudiced against:

 

learned what Americans’ psyche knows.

 

CONSTITUTION is sacred ideal divinely aspired:

 

but our reality is history soaked in hypocritic throes.

 

 

FDR’s democratic party represents us – we the people:

 

all of humanity without prejudice deserve equal props.

 

Righteous democratic ideals hold steady the course:

 

justice/liberty/equality for all - not just male white WASPS.

 

 

There is a `true north’ question if you have any doubt:

 

do you want same for other as you desire for your child?

 

Respect/ Empathy translate to love neighbor as self:

 

`Walk the Talk’ keeps your integrity/soul undefiled.
