Psychology studies in prime taught me so much:
one class focused on interesting academic abstract.
Control studies for those seeking help differed:
friends helping fared better than pros counseling tract.

I have witnessed multi relationships throughout long life:
acquaintances, peers, family, associates, and many friends.
Friends seemed to epitomize the best in seasonal life:
empathy, respect, honesty, caring/sharing: blessed gems.

Rose above familiarity/self-motives/taking for granted norms:
could be counted on at all times and in all kind of weather.
Strong like oak when needed; priceless like unlimited gold:
merciful like gentle rain; calming/soothing like delicate feather.

Some of my friends are now in the sweet by and by:
Many of my peers have lost their dear ones too.
I salute you, FRIEND, and all whom you hold dear:
may we all reunite in far future with heavenly view.
