Charlie Rose interviewed directors of Making A Murderer;
they were lamenting how the system needed to be fixed.
Over three decades ago a legal student confessed to me;
even if he knew arrested innocent, would still prosecute.
It was a battle between prosecutor and defense;
winning at all costs could not be nixed.

This is the same way politics are;
Republicans staged war against Obama.
Stop him at all costs no matter what the price;
never mind if it is good for country or not.
It isn’t just about a democrat this time succeeding;
it’s a contest between white superior to black trauma.

People’s lives are nothing in the crosshairs of power;
economic help is scoffed at by the privileged wasps.
Their ancestors crossed first: banner - might makes right;
invaded and conquered exclaiming manifest destiny.
Wrote constitution magnificent words omitting actual truths;
all equal except women/Indians/blacks…founders like asps.

Misogynist Islamophobic is one presidential candidate;
echoes of Hitler’s Third Reich dominate the news.
Evil’s formula continues to conquer and divide;
pit one against the other – strike at Achilles heel.
Best opponents: sex, religion, politics;
bedfellows of ill-informed fools.

Justice for all translates to privileged, economically endowed;
you don’t have Chinaman’s chance if minority or impoverished.
Read the fable of The Emperor With No Clothes;
classic treasure demonstrating pandering gullibility.
Thou Shalt Not Have False Idols Before Me;
but power, greed, prejudice rule until we are demolished.

America fraught with injustice, capitalistic power;
facing climate crisis, ISIS, alongside nuclear annihilation.
Millenniums religious wars rage on: Christian/Muslim/Jew;
One God claimed by all with their sect having ultimate truth.
The ultimate AXIOM preached is do it my way;
Commandment is LOVE, but opposite is NARRATION.
