SYLVIA
I first heard her call out months ago:
have a blessed day+ exclaimed joyous voice.
I didn’t recognize woman nor car:
thrilled that I was her recipient choice.


We were both coming from 6 a.m. mass:
I walked mile + to and fro daily from home.
She sailed by in silver smooth ethereal sport car:
corner/made left; me/right under heavenly dome.


I yearned to meet her/felt heavenly pulse:
she surely was an angel abiding on earth.
And then lo and behold, another sent to me:
picking me up/bring me back to home turf.


Next day walked to parking lot, there she was: `
first angel’ who embraced/twirled me around.
Sylvia/nurse - serving Lord in abundant joy:
miracle blessings I am bestowed with astound.


Always there/dramatically increased since assault:
42 stab wounds/coma: renascent life God bestowed.
Prayer warrior suits me well as I add names to list:
Sylvia - heaven’s angel to me/all - honored in this ode+++
