Recreation Opportunities to engage in recreation and social activities regardless of your age or ability.
The Alexandria Adult Day Services Center is a daytime program for older adults with disabilities.
The Center offers therapeutic recreation programs and leisure activities for center participants to help increase their physical, mental, emotional and social abilities.
Senior Centers offer independent seniors opportunities to participate in a wide range of activities including exercise, creative activities, field trips, music, education and information, computer classes, English as a second language, cultural activities, inter-generational activities, celebrations and fun!
Center participants also enjoy nutritious meals and spend time making friends and socializing.
There are two senior centers in Alexandria operated by the Office of Aging and Adult Services:
St. Martins Senior Center 4650 Taney Avenue, Alexandria, VA 22304 703-751-2766

Transportation is provided to both centers.
There is no charge for meals at the centers for individuals age 60 or older.

Every Sunday Afternoon Dances at Lincolnia Senior Center
Lincolnia Senior Center 4710 N Chambliss St Alexandria, VA 22312 (703) 914-0223
The Lincolnia Senior Center dances are at 2PM every Sunday.
This is a Ballroom Tea Dance which includes Waltz, Foxtrot, Swing, Rumba, Cha and other dances.
