Over five decades ago when I read about them:

 

Alabama black postal couple were found out.

 

Anonymous donations were left by front door:

 

money or commodities helping indigent core.

 

 

They lived in small house, had no children:

 

even worked overtime to covertly allocate.

 

They were luminaries adhering to highest laws:

 

`Love God…neighbor as self’ is superior cause.

 

 

Kennedy’s exoration `Ask…you can do for country’:

 

coupled with their role modeling inspired me to deed.

 

Started ARC, nonprofit, act as `one’ who cares:

 

mission, as able, money/time/service shares.

 

 

 

Symbolic name represented rainbow ARC:

 

Association Renaissance Creators montage.

 

Each moment new in associative creative way:

 

aspire loving God/neighbor as self I did pray.

 

 

I adopted symbolic name signifying same:

 

saluting sacred within every one of us.

 

Believed universal kinship heart/mind/soul:

 

divine guidance unified to holistic whole.

 

 

It is amazing how much one can do to help:

 

from micro $/commodity resource donations. 

 

Free educational seminars/materials shared:

 

holy/holiday salutations affirming ARC cared 

 

 

I AM A Renaissance Creator desiring to imitate:

 

role models who share divine light within:

 

They illuminate AGAPE LOVE for one/all:

 

answering arch pursuit equality respect call.

I have had multi eclectic blue/white collar avocations:

 

minority/poverty stimuli for adaption/learning.

but successful `one’ would be like yeast in dough.

 

 

Octogenarian years give witness to `renaissance’ one:

 

individual like spring breath of fresh air energizing life.

 

HOPE exudes in faith, audacity, challenging potentials:

 

visionaries think outside dots, may or not have credentials.

 

 

Spring frees winters debilitating repressive grasp:

 

rain and sunshine clean air and mind lethargies.

 

Revitalization of earth, mind, body, soul exalt:

 

prioritizing highest commandments is our salt.

 

 

I pray that I/One/All attune to universal divine:

 

`Love God with mind/heart/soul, neighbor as self.’

 

Imitate righteous modeling blessed renascent spring:

 

all kith/kin, as one choir, let our hearts hallelujah sing.

I have married couple as friends:

 

Linda & Larry have long term union.

 

In 80+ years I have not experienced many:

 

conversely the opposite including me plenty.

 

 

It’s not just that they are great to be around:

 

admire them for they truly like each other.

 

Both are positive in attitude, spirit, empathy:

 

care about all humanity equal in sympathy.

 

 

They do a lot of what I always dreamed of:

 

travel utilizing higher education to explore.

 

Foreign countries, museums, art/music society:

 

nature, cosmopolitan, indigenous, multi variety.

 

 

The best part is they share in detailed blog:

 

skillful visual writing that vicariously fulfills.

 

Coupled with vivid description and humor too:

 

vicariously I enjoy experiences and world view.

 

 

They role model loving kith and kin:

 

support both with active participation.

 

Honesty, integrity, respect is their refrain:

 

brilliant, yet down to earth and not vain.

 

 

I am grateful for their friendship bestowed:

 

represent the best of intelligence and class.

Hand in Hand is a classic wise and poignant movie:

 

touchingly portrays friendship between boy and girl.

 

The miss Jewish, lad of the Roman Catholic faith:

 

their grade level is way below the eighth.

 

 

Their bond enchanting to view as they play grown-up:

 

also curious about religious/parental indoctrination.

 

Taking turns, each visits other’s sacred worship site:

 

relieved when neither struck down by God’s might.

 

 

They are unaware local priest/rabbi’s friendship:

 

yet conscious that faiths negate each other.

 

Childhood play suddenly threatens life of girl:

 

she is in his kin boat caught in river swirl.

 

 

 

 

He rushes to priest to confess sinful deed:

 

believes his friend killed because of him.

 

She though was saved by locals nearby:

 

film poignancy child love their mind’s eye.

 

 

Let us all become like little children again:

 

prior to contrary taught by politics/religion/kith/kin.

 

Where color, sex, creed, are synonymous with love:

 

innocent in truth/honor/respect bestowed by divine above.
