November 7, 2020 Saturday @ 8:46 a.m.

Hallelujah, our 46th President is Joseph Biden;

Kamala Harris christens history as first woman VP –

country will heal – succeeded in firing human Poseidon.

My prayer has and will be for peaceful unity;

Democrats role modeled grace over Bush and Gore –

please Republicans reciprocate for American community.

I am beseeching us all to do what you can;

support new administration with action/prayer –

role model America’s best woman/man.

Our words right for over two hundred years;

walking talk progress has had dangerous setback –

luminary majority recognized apocalyptic fears.

Now, it is time for A Renaissance Covenant;

we, together, side by side, walk the talk –

saluting the best in our democratic government.

AVA

 AVA

I have a beautiful granddaughter Ava;

she is sweet, and as loving as can be:

November 6, birthday, now three.

When I visit, first I get really big hug;

then we play with magnetic blocks:

she dances on tiptoes without socks.

My favorite is when we read books;

we do the pictures/words together:

also go for walks in nice weather.

Ava has the best Eema and Mommy;

she loves brother Zev; they go to school:

also special is when family goes to Schul.

Her birthday also celebrates new home;

has front/backyard lots of space to play:

Hashem, please bless Ava in every way.

SON

                                                Thank you, dear son, John Anthony:

I am blessed/grateful for your loving care.

We are so much alike yet uniquely opposite too:

may God enrich/heal/comfort you is daily prayer.

Sometimes we clash, do not mix like oil/vinegar:

our passion defines us, not lukewarm like tepid water.

We both ideally hold truth/justice/integrity as one:

no building/philosophy but divine is our Alma mater.

He is an extraordinarily talented renaissance man:

multi-talented in education, versatile in eclectic skills:

Honor/duty inspired at 18 to serve USA Army:

modern Don Quixote does not tilt at windmills.

He has experienced multi winters in five decades:

PTSD from military conflict, loss of best friend.

But spring/summer/fall outnumber pain/sorrow:

he easily goes out of dots to rise above/transcend.

He is a phenomenal family man esteemed by all:

kith/kin delight in his respect and companionship.

I, as his mother, give testimony of high praise:

my son is top caliber, synonymous with blue chip.
