AssociationRenaissanceCreators@yahoo.com Free Email Mentoring As Able 501 ©(3) 95-3855901 Divorce or Separation Aids Often, there is anxiety over a separation or divorce. It’s analogous to losing a beloved pet. The remedy: get another. Even though there might be relief that a negative relationship is over, there is still the feeling of loss that needs to be filled. Taking positive steps is a must. Begin with `support groups’ found at local churches - don’t just limit yourself to your faith based church - explore them all. Do a Google search for your locality by zip code. Most areas also provide `free counseling’ - this is wonderful not just for adults but children who might be suffering and have confused feelings. Parents, be careful about blaming child’s parent; honor their love for each. Friends are wonderful during difficult times; making new ones can be exhilarating and challenging. Be careful about going to places that do just the opposite - example bars: drinking and lax morals. Great places are dancing groups and athletics. Folk dancing is a phenomenal cross culture fun pursuit. Square dancing is great. Learn to play Bridge. Join an adult school class; participate in a parks and recreation activity; enroll in a college course; look up adult group sports. There are `singles’ social clubs; again do a Google Search; check local papers for weekly events. PWP - Parents Without Partners - is a national group with local chapters offering multi events - open dances. If you are considering `trying again’ with spouse, please consider professional and/or minister counseling during the process. Loneliness doesn’t fix problems - working them through with a professional does. We offer a safe environment where persons experiencing a broken relationship may find spiritual and emotional help on their healing journey with renewed hope. As a peer ministry, this program will help deal with the natural grief process and offer an opportunity, through God for turning the pain of loss into an experience of positive growth. http://church-of-christ.org/churches/united_states/california_s.htm http://www.parentswithoutpartners.org/ Fullerton-Anaheim #67 PO Box 8630 Anaheim, CA 92812-8630 * 714-441-1682 E-mail: adeanda@socal.rr.com South Bay #69 PO Box 4199 Torrance, CA 90510-4199 * 310-540-2504 or 310-784-9153 La Mirada - East Whittier #176 PO Box 4351 Whittier, CA 90607-4351 * 562-946-4843 E-mail: rinaldi.j@att.net Website: http://www.pwp0176.org http://www.yelp.com/biz/elks-lodge-hawaiian-gardens http://www.abcadultschool.edu/index.html
